Hi all. Thanks to some help from Lewis, I have established that my fuel pump cables are not hooked up how they should be. There appears to be no fixing points for the orange collared cable, at either end.  Does anyone else have this setup for any reason? Is there any valid reason that someone would have removed the mounting points?

I have tried to post photos to show what I mean but I'm currently unable due to newbie status. I even tried to build a web page and share the link to that but that didn't work either.  If someone else wants to post the link I'm happy to send it over.

Thanks!

Lewis' photo shows the orange cable secured to a "fork type fixing" almost identical to that holding the black cable. On mine there is only the one fork, holding the black cable. Similarly, the left of the photo shows it held into place with a small plate attached to a larger plate with a couple of bolts and what appears to be a rivet. None of this exists in my setup.

There does appear to be one long bolt, that appears to be an adjusting bolt of some description where Lewis photo doesn't show one, but unsure of how this could be utilised, especially since there is still no fixing at the other end.

Seems you have had a pump fitted from a manual vehicle.
