Hi all, my 2005 Deli has auto steps. The one for the sliding doors works with a bit of encouragement but the front priced and passenger side ones won’t budge. Is there a simple fix for these or am I better removing them and getting a fixed step fitted?

Thanks in advance

Not sure about all models, but my 99 S2 only has a moving rear passenger step. The front 2 are fixed

Yeah, I've never heard of sliding steps other than the one under the side door.
And I've done some reading about these vehicles over the last few months!  Wink

Definitely no electric front steps.

If you stick your head under each side you will see where they are bolted on.  Wink

Thanks for the replies. The front ones are tucked under so must be sliding cos you can’t get your feet on them as they are 🤔

My front ones are mounted so you can only get a toe on them. That's normal, I think they are more for styling than practical use.

No! They are not tucked under, that is how they are.

You cannot have electric front ones as the area under the passenger side, where it would fit, is occupied by the Rear Air conditioner Radiator.

On the drivers side there is a bit of tubing in the way, AKA: an exhaust pipe.  Rolling Eyes

Had a look and they are fixed. The guy I bought it from said that they used to work but got jammed. I've only had it a couple of weeks so took his word for it that they should slide out. I’ll have to get some longer feet 😄
