It's ugly, but it's back!

And I want the 4g69 / 133 bhp / euro4 engine and the six speed manual box please!

Oh dear, - a D5 got into the L300 pen! That is one bad facelift, and it's only 2wd. Bet it's lovely inside, and to drive, and has a bigger crumple zone. Not sure a SWB with 133bhp would be a good idea though!

Whoever designed that front end must have been a Judge Dredd fan, with a liking for customised Landie 101 front ends.  Laughing

The style is not that bad - it's the way that modern vehicle styling is, whether we like it or not †Rolling Eyes

Modern vehicles must have "Crumple Zones" Manufacturers have to comply.
And do the best to style the front to fit.

I cannot see the reason to have what appears to be four light clusters, the top two seem to be "Out of Place"

Just my opinion.

Interestingly the 2019 L300 retains the old front end style:-

That one looks very like the same old chassis-cab crewbus that Mitsu have been making in the Philippines for years, right down to the pre-'87 straight front window. Pink Pig's new model has the later drop-front window that our L300s have, and a modern Mitsu front end. The conversion of the seats into a bed looks uncomfortable, with a hump in the middle, because the centre seats (captain's seats on ours) don't rotate.
