As mentioned above:

Download this:- UK.Gov Pdf of the current Number plate regultions

The document shows you the current permitted shapes and layouts for number plates. depending on vehicle registration dates.
The actual sizes currently on your vehicles doesn't really matter, as when you go to whichever company who makes them for you they will only have the ones shown in the document.

Sizes and typefaces are now standardised and mandatory, after a certain date, which the Delis fall into.  Note that they are also part of the MoT, so if you don't have the right plates you can get an MoT Fail notice.

As plate makers have, by law, got to put their name on them, they have to get it right, or lose their business.

NB: Don't forget to take your V5 with you when you go for some as they need proof you are the vehicle owner.

Be wary of getting them made online, as the firm may not have the required licence to make them, (potential Mot tst Failure ?)
