Hi All,
I know this is an old post I am resurrecting but it has the part number and a photo handy.
I have a leak from this joint, but it looks a nightmare to remove. Its at the back of the engine, near side of the cylinder head, lots of pipework in the way and not much room for tools. I have read that people cut it off so they can get a socket on it, but I was hoping to remove it in one piece in case it was fixable, the replacement is £50!
Any ideas ? Is this an 18 mm socket / spanner to remove, seems an odd size ?
Has anyone had any joy with slicing a section out of a socket to fit ( I think I saw this on the canada forum ) to create a tool for this job ?
Cheers

I used an 8" adjustable pipe wrench to do mine. _________________
