Hi all, first post. Recently bought a 1994 2.8 and I'm slowly working my way through the list of jobs. Unfortunately I'm pretty useless with electrical knowledge and I'm now trying to tackle the overdrive not working issue.

In the engine bay there is a loose brown wire that comes off the same loom as the water temp sensor etc. I have tried to upload photos to show it as clearly as possible in the photos with some added red arrows, but I am not allowed to post any links as a new newbie so not sure how I can share the pictures
If anyone can possibly help ID this wire I can share the link to the pictures, it would be massively appreciated!
