Grey imports, just like the Star Wagon and Space Gear's.

Note the Club title, at the top of the page, has changed and we have two new sections for them: Technical questions Forum and Technical FAQ, as we now have some members joining who have them.

Though they only ones who know about them are those who have them.

Still, it is good that they are coming here, and hopefully will make this forum the repository of their knowledge. I'm hoping I'll be able to see one for real at AO show in September. It looks too low to make a useful camper without modification(ie a pop-top), but I will reserve judgement until I see one. Not that I will be able to afford one until they are around 15 years old, by which time they will all be banned as not electric.

There is a company in UK converting them - I saw one a few weeks ago, and it looks okay, but probably a worthy competitor to a SWB VW 4 motion transporter.

Also, see these

I still prefer the L400 LWB as a basis for conversion..
Dave.

Lovely, and as you say, bargain compared †to a Vdub. But I'll wait until the comma moves one place to the left, - about what it has cost me for nine years enjoyment of my L300.
