Has anyone changed their drivers seat for a more comfortable/supportive one relatively (subjective I know) easily?
Mine seems, after lots of miles with a heavy bloke driving, to be unsupportive and give me lower back ache. |

I'm only 5'8". I always struggled with the 2 Audi A4s I've had, their seats killed me, and they had no lumbar adjustment, - crazy on a car of that supposed quality. However, I've had 2 old Renaults, a 19 and a Megane1, and both of their seats gave me all the positional and Lumbar adjustment needed for long distance comfort. I still have the Megane, it is firmly supportive, but importantly, the front edge of the seat is nicely rounded, so doesn't cut off the blood flow like squarer edges seem to; I literally fell out out of one Audi after a 55mile trip to Whitehaven, as my right leg had gone partly numb, - much to the amusement of the school kids I was going to be teaching! _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
