Slight (I hope) electrical misdemeanour, started up from cold, speedo not functioning, overdrive not functioning, although switch and light on dash are okay. A/T warning began flashing, though trans oil level and temp are normal.
After 10 miles it all started functioning again, then all stopped again 5 miles later. Situation has not changed. Have checked and cleaned all under bonnet fuses and relays, though not under-dash fuses.
I have a huge and complicated wiring diagram which tells me nothing, and Lewis's fusebox label translation from some years back (very useful, but not apparently relevant). Surely the three not-working functions must be linked and share a power source (failed?)
Can't get my head round this one. Any knowledgeable suggestions most welcome.

Hi Slow h.

Just read this - - - Easy fix, its the Speedo sender, cheap on the "bay"
Replaced mined last year.

Until you sort it, try using the HOLD function on the A/T switch, helps a bit.

Im'e very busy at this time, not going on line much.
I'll send a PM with my phone No. If you need help.

NOTE. There is a trick with the plug on the Speedo sensor - DON'T force the plug.

Mr D
