Hi All,

Just running my 2.8 L400 up to temperature to check a few things after installing cylinder head, I turned on all things electrical to put a suspect alternator bearing under load and smoke poured from the fuse box, it didn't it blow the 30amp fuse it melted it..!!

But was still making continuity as a fuse, turns out to be the fuse for the condenser fan front..   Shocked

Guessing this is A/c related, the fan belt for the A/c was missing when I bought the old girl so something is amiss me thinks..   Idea

Any pointer where to start looking, where is the condenser fan front situated..?

Thanks,

db.

There's two of them, between the front grill and the front A/C radiators:-
