Is there a common part that fails causing fuel leaks from the rear tank, or is it a tank seam shot, and replacement required?
TIA

Have you got underneath to see where it is leaking from ? _________________

From my 9 years on this forum, this would seem not to be a common problem - yet!. In fact I don't remember seeing another post on this subject relating to L300s. Yours may be the first of many of an aging and dwindling number. I'll be interested to see what you find. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Certainly the bottom cover for the tank (the guard) seems to be very very crusty on mine, and I have wondered to what extent rust on the brackets that hold that in would eventually start to get in to the tank itself. _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |
