Hope you all have a good weekend.
I'll be in Kelso at a Harley meet, without bike unfortunately, hoping for good weather.

Gutted... I was really looking forward to coming to this but it looks like I will have to be away for work this weekend after all.  Crying or Very sad

Such a shame, as by the looks of things it should be a really good turnout...

Have a great time all; I hope the weather behaves itself.

Sorry to hear both of you won't be there - I am also hoping the weather is better than forecast! Hope to catch up with you both in the not-too-distant-future. Take care.

Very likely me too - I can never make the April one - wife's birthday. Keeping fingers crossed for some decent weather this weekend. It's been damp and sweaty at Center Parcs today. I'm taking a big tarpaulin to string up between Delicas as a communal all-weather area. I don't think it contravenes the "No gazebos" rule!

I've got side panels for my awning now for a little bit better weather protection.

Just got back from Kelso where we had 700+ Harley's from all over Europe for our 70th Anniversary Rally.

Just got back from Coniston where we had 6 Delicas, but nevertheless, a good time had by all despite the indifferent (read 'wet') weather, with some drier interludes. Deker will post pics when he gets back. I'll let him tell all about nearly causing a security alert at Sellafield. Ended up with a group chat about Delicas and other Japanese vehicles after providing our details to a friendly, but heavily armed SWAT team!

What kind of high security site lifts the barrier to let Deker in, driving a van-like vehicle with darkened windows! Shocked

Too tired yesterday to write up  Sad

So here goes -

Saturday, the usual off road bit - Which I don't really like - the hard rocky gravel, prefer "Green" lanes.

Sunday. I was leader for a change. First, the dramatic
Hardknott Pass, it was so misty, no point in photo- ing the scenery  Sad

Note the illuminated Mitsubishi logo on my Delica  Wink   Very Happy

Next, the Serene, Ravenglass Beach - or would have been it weren't so windy.

Ravenglass, Delica/s looking out to sea.

Last. On the way home, I stopped at the "Kendal Mint Cake" shop, to buy their products. Not much to see really  Sad
The receptionist did show me where they make the products. Which includes a selection of Fudge/s

Dunno what Andy is on about - All I did was inadvertently lead the "convoy" into Sellafield Nuclear processing plant   Shocked
Out came a load O cops, wearing "Black instruments of Death" -

They liked me so much, they wanted to talk to me. Might have been 'cos most of my curtains were closed.
Real friendly guys, asked for my name, where I lived, and I.D. Most important, asked about the Delica/s  Smile

They also talked to the other members of the group.
Dunno what they said to them, 'cos they were more busy with me. Being as I was the only one they let into the Gate   Rolling Eyes

Overall, we all had a good laugh about it  Very Happy

My biggest thanks to Marius and Sophie, for the use of their large tent awning, to shelter from the "not so good" weather  Smile
Also Andy for the camp fire.

Think I will have to give Andyman the sack for organising meets - That/s two this year, he suggested,
on both occasions he selected, either very cold = minus 5° at night, the other = rather wet, cool N windy  Mad

Mr D

Pity about the Saturday night troubles......always a minority that spoils it for the many.

Just one guy, a prospect of the local Patch trying to prove something apparently.
Did spoil the evening as AC/DC UK were in full flow.

Thanks for posting the pics, Deker. A fun day out with your leadership - and nice to be able to hand over that responsibility. You took us in the right direction, as we found the sun.

Could some kind soul point the way to these photos that are on the MDOCUK FB page?
I've just borrowed the other half's login, she's in the group. I've just had a quick browse but can't find them... am I being dumb?

Hi Jeroen, sorry, Kzys has posted it on Mitsubishi Delica Owners Group UK Europe on FB. My mistake, I think. It's right there when you open the group.
