Can anyone help on why the Auto gearbox is doing this? You can pull away fine if you select L and 2 manually but when in D it's not going into lower gears?
Thanks,

Whenever I have had autobox issues, including my L400 a simple oil and filter change has always sorted it out.
I have changed the oil filter in the sump of the auto box but I seem to be the only one who has.
You will probably find that the oil that comes out is dirty/burnt and brown and the stuff going back in is a nice cherry red.
There are many posts here showing how to do it, as it is more than just undoing the sump plug to do the job. _________________ Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.... |
