So I have the A/T light flashing on my dash no matter what, and cannot for the life of me figure out why it's flashing. Found online it's supposedly for if the automatic gearbox fluid is overheating, but cannot find a sensor at all for that, but I can also start the ignition when it's cold (without starting the engine) and it flashes, or I can start it with engine as well when cold and it'll flash, and if its warm it flashes etc etc. I'm absolutely clueless as to what the issue is, could just be a faulty light, wiring, sensor etc. Or could be something important which is what I want to figure out before I actually start driving it properly. I need help asap please.

In a nut shell - first check auto box oil level or better still change it for fresh oil.
