As you know the screen wash pump for the front screen is poor.

I have removed the rear wiper and mechanism.

So i was thinking of removing the rear pump and tank and moving it to the front.

Can anybody see a problem of me running two pumps - one to each jet wash.

There seems lots of room behind the air filter and above the wheel arch.

No, I don't know that, 'cos mines good, the windscreen washers should be good.

Mostly, the problem is the washer jets. Other problem is crud in the washer tank - Had that problem in my car.

My cure = Cut the flexi tube by the bottom of bonnet and top of the bulkhead.
Empty the bottle by operating the wash switch - Be CAREFUL, CLOSE the bonnet to prevent damage to wipers.
Best to remove the wiper arms

I then added some Oven Cleaner into the bottle. Cut a piece of metal (Copper is best) brake pipe, insert it in the flexi tube from the bottle.
Connect a long piece of "Fish Tank" air hose to the metal pipe, so that it hangs over the car.
Do short flush, do not empty out the cleaning fluid, leave to stand for a while - go have "A cuppa" Wink

Now, fill the tank with water, run the wash, empty the tank, refill with water and flush out -
repeat until there is no sign of the cleaning fluid (can be seen by lack of soapy bubbles)

You have now cleaned the tank and pump.

Connect the hose that goes to the washers onto the short metal pipe, add some water in the tank, test the washers.
If there is no improvement, disconnect the hose at the joint you made earlier, and check the water flow rate,
it should be good. - If so, then it shows that the problem is with the washer jets.
My car had this problem - So I made my own design washer jets.

And have sold many sets to members, see my post in member2member services.
