Does anyone know where i can buy the relevant fittings for the front bullbar for my Delica L400? I removed my bullbar to re-chrome it but have misplaced the fittings so need some new ones.

My Jasper went in for some mechanical work and whilst it was there I asked for the whole bullbar assembly to be removed as the Deli is going to be wrapped. They took the bullbar off but lost whatever they took off that fixed it to the vehicle......so I need to locate those fittings.

If the garage removed the bar and lost fittings, then it is their responsibility to replace what they lost.

THis post will help workout what they have lost:- http://www.MDOCUK.co.uk/forums/viewtopic.php?t=46877

MitzyBitz, in Rotherham, will be able to supply second hand parts.

Old L400s are always being scrapped - try on FB Delica mart and forum - someone will have the fittings - most people are just looking for decent bars and don't need the fittings and bolts.

If they are wrapping the panels then they would not, or at least would not need to remove the two brackets that are bolted to the chassis, behind the front grill. Those are the only two 'fittings'. Each of those brackets has a threaded stud the bar mount locates onto, then a nut goes on that, with a bolt into the hole next to it. Then there are three bolts that go underneath. One sideways into the chassis and the other two upwards to fasten the bar to it.
