Even though I consider myself organised   Crying or Very sad I always find myself in a rush trying to do this or that job and frantically searching online or through manuals for torque settings for certain items.

( We all know how hard they are to find in a hurry - refer to this or that section etc )

There is a brilliant sticky for part numbers in the tech forum

Why not have 1 for Torque values ???

Members could even post a picture with added arrows for the keen amongst us???

Could be another plus for the forum to bring new members in.  Smile

General torque tightening values are in the workshop manual General Section, Page 00-28.

Torque values for special bolts or those requiring special tightening methods, like the cylinder head bolts, are in the specificsection for those items.

The L400 workshops manual are on Terra Momkey's Sticky post in the L400 Tech section.

This link takes you direct to the google dive he has them in:-

Pink Pig has uploaded L300 manuals in the L300 Tech section.

Yes, we'll aware of many manuals and own a few on actual paper, But as said, would be nice to have them on 1 easy link like the part numbers.

As said again,, I'm always in a hurry and sometimes find myself doing a job in a hurry without having the time to research it the new night before.

1 page of,  for example.  " rear Caliper sliding pins" 54 lbs.

Not a biggy.  :?

Okay.

Compile the list and post it and I will put it in the Tech Faqs forum. †Smile

I've moved the part numbers sticky into the tech Faqs section.
