Gym mats, the foam type, cut into 6inch strips and sandwiched between the lip of the arch and the mat itself using black silkaflex bond and self tapping screws with oversize washers.
Dead easy to work with, cheap and will take paint....all 4 including intergrated huge mud flaps £25 with the paint, sealer, and fixings.
Once they are on you can trim and contour them to your hearts content, if you hit something with them they squash then regain their form.
Mine have been on for a good 6-7 years now, no issues.
PS. Yes they do them in PINK. _________________ Artificial intelligence is no match for natural stupidity.... |

Just been to have a look at my front wheel arches, thinking you could stick something to the inner arch, but the door overhangs it by a good inch, plus there is already a seal on it. You need a flexible triangular or L profile, with a big enough surface area to stick firmly to the vertical metalwork of the wings/doors, and not go wiggly! Is there anything in architectural/double glazing profiles? _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/152721628031 How about these, Roger? I don't think your wheels stick out any further than mine. As long as the treads are within the body line, I don't think the law cares about the sidewalls. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
