Do you happen to have the blue print part number for the outer one please Lewis?
Cheers

It's a universal CV boot kit - inner, outer, on either side.  Wink

Blueprint Part Number ADM58151 appears to be only for the inner, it's too short for the outer.

Yes I know that!

The Idea being that giving him the BLUE PRINT part number would Identify the vehicle and part, so the parts guy would know which universal boot was required.  Wink

If I remember right the Quinton Hazell branded one is USB-1

That's my bad then. When I saw "It's a universal CV boot kit - inner, outer, on either side" I thought that meant 1 boot for all 4 postions!

Thanks again for your help  Smile

Ah right...  :D

I've just been scanning through my photo lists.

Outer BLUE PRINT brand boot is ADC48105.

I also need to say thank you.   :D

I went out to wash under mine ( I'm currently offroading out in Spain ) after getting back to my static this afternoon, to take a photo showing the difference in boots.

My nearside inner boot has been totally trashed and needs replacing.  :?

When he says 'offroading' he means he is parked offroad it's much quieter for his afternoon nap. Wink

Hmm Just spotted this comment.   Laughing

Your right I was parked offroad, but then again there are a lot of 'Offroad' places to drive to and park in around where I stay in Spain.

NB: I came back on this post to mention I had just been into my local Autofactors to get replacement BLUE PRINT brand inner and outer CV gaiters for my spares pack.

Even with my 10% discount the price was £17.70 for the inner and £40.51 for the outer, both plus VAT. I told him to send them back to the supplier.

You can get dual inner/outer ones for £9.95, including VAT and postage on E-Bay:- Inner /outer CV joint kit

Just updating this for future info on CV joint gaiters.

I've just refilled my spares box, having spotted the gaiters on ebay, luckily I knew what I was after, as one of the inners was marked up for a 2006 Ford Everest, but has the same part code as the Deli ones.  :?
The inners cost me £25.28 per pair and the outers £19.90, both inclusive of VAT and postage. Smile

The prices are a damned site cheaper than BLUE PRINT's £17+ each for the inners and £42+ each for the outers. VAT is extra.  Shocked
NB: Quality is the same on the inners, but the outers are a little more flexible, as they are listed as stretchable, so you can use a Duragun, or a plastic cone, to get them over the CV joint.
