Great memories of a brilliant weekend, even if the tracks look a little tame, it allowed us to enjoy the weather, company and scenery without damaging anything. (Gotbeanz' exhaust doesn't count!). The 4 x L300s in a row look a bit like a kiddies toy train, - no wonder the walkers were smiling, but I was surprised they were so friendly. Maybe it was the appetising frying smells, masking the dirty diesel fumes. Or maybe it's because Delis are so lovable. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Lovely camping spot in a small quarry at the top, with amazing views.

Dude, that looks amazing! Where was this? Have you got a map reference? I'd be a bit scared about potential damage but that looks like awesome fun... I'd be up for at least trying that on the next meet!! :D Did you actually camp up there? Envious... Really wishing it was easier to find similar rights of way in Scotland... _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

If you drops these cords 54.588713, -2.960964 into google map it shows where we started, to be honest I'd give this another crack without my family in it and with another Delica for backup.
We didn't camp up there jejoenje but would it'd be proper wild camping.... 8-) |

No worries, hopefully the South Western meet will materialise, and we can find some suitable tracks in Dorset/Devon. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

That sounds like a good reason for another meet! |
Seeing Lewis's video, I now think I would have liked to have been there.
Was a bit close to my operation tho
So, for 2018 - You gonna do the same I could be interested, from May to end of August.
I was dissapointed in organising two meets in 2017, and only two other members arrived/stayed, on both meets.
I would like to get another meet in Wales, to explore more of the Elan Valley, than what I have seen.
Probably need a member more local to the area to help.

I've had to strip the audio out of the video, as YouTube flagged the background music playing on my ICE system as copyright.
However I have been able to join the two parts together, so if you fancy a 46 minute silent movie, or turn on your radio, here it is:- https://youtu.be/0JGnznXYbks _________________

Brings back good memories of a great weekend. Don't suppose we'll get weather like that this Easter, but I'm up for another Lakeland meet this year, and Wales. both with green laning (nothing too punishing!) BTW, on Lewis's video, you will just see the herd of deer at 37.52>top left of screen, running away up the hill. They were a lot closer, when I, at the front, first saw them. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I'm up for that as well, not doing JAE again after this year and I find the AO meets boring after a day or so, (too many Landys with roof tents and stalls with V expensive items).
Lakes and/or Wales look good. _________________ Ian.

Not sure when Easter is next year, but gotbeanz had proposed a meetup in the Lakes between 26 may - 2 June? _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

I hope to be able to attend a Lakes meet this year (assuming I can drag the van through the April MoT test!). _________________ 1992 L300 Super Exceed |

That was a brilliant weekend (in my opinion) - I felt truly euphoric at the end of the day's trailing. It's a shame you couldn't stay for it all, Paul. It's a lovely shot of my Deli, btw. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |
