Hello folks,
I am new to the club and the Delica vehicle in general. I am located in Victoria BC Canada and looking to purchase a vehicle in the UK to share with my son who lives in Leeds. The Delica van looks very appealing though I am a bit concerned about getting it serviced, I will be visiting the UK for a couple of months at a time and would like to feel confident that I can have the van sorted with out a problem.

Thanks very much for any feed back regarding my question.
Cheers TP

Servicing a Delica is very easy - and quite cheap.

You do not even have to jack it up to get to oil sump/oil filter.

Its so easy I do it myself...

As said it's easy enough and parts fluids are easily available, I am a mechanical dullard but have no worries about doing it.

Servicing is old school, no fancy diagnostic kits required.

If you can handle a spanner, don't mind getting a bit oily, and follow the 'How to do it photo posts in the DIY section, then your going to be quids in against paying a garage to do it.

There are many hundreds of honest and competent garages in yorkshire that can cope with yearly mot test and do a brake, suspension and basic servicing but you need to be selective for engine work as Labour prices can vary hugely.
