Well the diff may have a sticker on it:-  



But if not just park the vehicle on level ground, in neutral with the front wheels chocked to stop it moving, jack up the rear axle, and turn one wheel whilst watching which way the other turns. If goes in the same direction it's a LSD. If it goes the opposite way it's a standard diff.

For those who need visual instruction   Rolling Eyes ( NB: The diffs shown are not Delica ones, but the principle is the same).  Wink

A standard Delica diff looks like this:-






The 2WD LWB Delica usually has a larger heavy duty diff, which may have a standard LSD fitted in it, which looks like this:-






Or a Helical Viscous Diff, which looks like this:-  





The HD axle can be retro-fitted to a SWB, but you need to match up the axles if you have the ABS system fitted. You can also fit an airlocking diff in the HD axle;-
