Thought id put the dates out there well in advance, I'm doing my yearly
trip up north to the lake's.
I had such a good time on our last mini meet would love to do it again.
The dates are from the 26th May to the 2nd of June, any input would be
appreciated. |

I'd certainly be keen to meet up again, and I love coming to the Lakes anyway. Plus that's so much of an advance warning that I haven't got anything in the diary yet...! _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Well the good news is, that is Cumbria's half term school holiday, so next question - any preference for venue/campsite? _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

I liked Coniston Hall but would be much up for going somewhere else, too. gotbeanz mentioned a jaunt up that track you did last year, and there might be wildcamp options? Although tricky to get away with with a bigger group. I've always liked the look of the Langdale campsite as well, but I've never actually stayed there... _________________ 1992 L300 Exceed "Selma" |

Langdale campsite is nicely situated, but all vehicles have to remain on hard standing - only tents are allowed on the grass areas. I like Coniston Hall for it's relaxed informality and plenty of space. For smaller numbers (they don't do formal groups), Chapel House Farm in Borrowdale is a beautiful situation, but a small site, so may be quickly filled. _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Glad you guys are on board☺ I didn't stay but loved the location of Coniston Hall, I also found a spot
that will take four or five delicas wild camping so that's an option as well. |

I would maybe be up for this but I would want to have made sure the Deli was tip top before making a trip that long. The lakes are about 6 hours away from mine, and that was in my Coupe driving 70ish all the way. |

Perhaps you and Gotbeanz Luke could meet on the M5 and travel up in convoy? _________________ Andy C L300 Super Exceed - over 100 smiles per gallon! |

Sounds like a plan, I think I did the journey over 9 hours in the L300, that was cruising at 55 most the way, didn't have to stop to refuel so that was a bonus. |
