I had an alternator from them which lasted just under a year.  Sad

They collected the old one and refunded after testing it themselves so top marks for their customer service.

Think it's just a loose main power wire to the starter motor,  any special tools I will need to tighten it up?  Or is  it just a crimp? Cheers Paul

One is a crimp, which you can 'readjust' with a pair of pliers.  :D

The other is a ring terminal.

I've just replaced mine on the L300 petrol  with a brand new one from ble print.Seems okay.

Turns out that the main braided wire had broken. No doubt when I get round to testing it it will work fine. Not sure how to get the thing reburbished.

Stick with oem if you can, the ones with the standard offset gearbox last longer , there are lots available from shogun and pajero that fit , some of the aftermarket ones wear loose after 1yr (wasn't milners) , the oem ones do last even though mitsubishi don't put enough grease in ,and water can rust planetary gears, if it's only brushes or springs  that need replacing they are obtainable
