- spension etc.

I don't know what to do..

12 fails...rusty suspension mounts are the main...thing. The guys say it will take 8 days or workshop work and then the rust will return.

I don;t want to say good bye! Has anyone been in this situation before? I am based Sussex and am really keen to strip parts down myself and let someone do welding...

Serious rust issues are generally a pain and invairiably expensive.  Sad

If they only charge £250 a day, you are into £2,000 + parts. Will they come and work at your place if you strip it? Sad to say, sometimes it is wiser to say goodbye, and either sell it as a donor, or keep it as a donor for one with less rust. If you can post pics, and/or the full detail of the Fail notice, we might be able to advise better. Bad luck, sad day.
