Hi,
I'm looking for a mechanic with some experience with dealing with Delica L400 in North London (Wood Green area).
Would anybody have some recommendations?
I just need to have the Fan/Alternator + AC belts exchanged this time but it would be great to know a place I can trust for any future work.

Thanks

I should be able to do that for you. NOTE = I have been quite unwell this year, but slowly getting better.

If it should be too much for me, then my taxi mechanic will do it.

You would have to come over to Borehamwood, to have the work done.
Less than 12 miles, 3 miles of that thro green N leafy Totteridge  Lane & village, and Hendon Wood Lane.

Hi Deker,

Thanks for the quick reply.
That's sounds like a very good plan...
I need to drop the Deli for his MOT next week so if it is all right with you we can try to organise that for the beginning of next month.
It's not massively urgent. it's just a very annoying noise for a couple of min when it's cold or wet outside.
Here is my email: laurent.treherne@gmail.com

Speak to you soon.

Cheers
L.

If it's just a shriek/squeal for a few seconds when you first start it, you just need to tension the belts for now. Any mechanic should be able to do that, and make your belts last longer as well as ensure you don't end up with a flat battery one cold autumnal morning. Agreed, your belts will probably need changing soonish.

There are some instructions, with photos, on how to do the work yourself on this post:-
