Very sad news I have just heard that Paul the quiet half of Defender1 has died after a long illness.
We first met Paul and Josie some years ago by Stonehenge they tagged along on our meet which meant they became members of the Salisbury Mob and good friends as well.
Us off roaders will remember him as the man at the back who had a very good winch, he only used it for others somehow he always took the best lines and made it through the mire sometimes with the mother in law in the back.😋
Paul always had the tool you needed and good words of advice on whatever mechanical gremlin was ailing us, he had the tool required and Les happily laid down in the mud to use it as Paul tried to avoid getting muddy unfortunately that did not always work with Les around. :D
Les and I visited him in hospital a few months ago we were late as we tried to drive through the Plain without diverting up a track, failed miserably then recovered someone who had been stuck in Disco Duck all night.I like to think us two arriving late covered in mud with a story to tell cheered him up a bit he looked in a lot of pain but was laughing and looked like his old self.
Bazza
Paul and Josie.

Already suggested that to Rusty, Yesterday.  Wink

Note the little red marker in the top right corner of Bazza's post.

We could also do with Roger's (Duracell Bunny) adding to it.  Smile
