It's easy

You need to get the picture you want on a page by itself. Do this by right clicking on the picture and selecting view in new window (Or something like that anyway!) Then with it in a window on it's own, copy the address (In the above case: http://static.flickr.com/26/44264409_3fdd4bd77a.jpg ) and then paste it between but without the gaps...
I think that's the easiest way unless someone has a better way of putting it :?

Go to a piccies on your site,
click the right mouse button over it,
click properties,
copie the address (url)
paste in post on MDOCUK highlight what you just pasted
click the Img button above right Wink

Should look like this but without the spaces.

Easy - stick the piccie in an envelope, write an address on the front, lick & stick a stamp.....place in a post box......pretty simple really!! :D Twisted Evil Rolling Eyes

Let me know if you get stuck - the glue on the envelope can do that sometimes! Laughing

Bruce.

Hi Paddy,

You look like you are trying to link to a photo that is on the hard drive of your computer!! ([img]file://C:........) this is your home computer, and we don't have access to that, so the images will never show!

Open your online 'flickr' website with the WSM photos on (the place you 'uploaded' them on)

Click on ANY photo to enlarge it, then RIGHT click the large photo and choose the properties option.

Copy the address (http://.......) by highlighting it and right clicking over the highlight and select COPY.

Now come back to MDOCUK and paste the address (it will ALWAYS start 'http://.....') between making sure you don't have any spaces!

If you get stuck - give me a call, I've PM'd you my number!

Regards,

Bruce.

WELL DONE PADDY!!! :D :D :D

Now have a go at linking to the BIGGER pictures!

You've linked to the 'thumbnail' by selecting and copying the address of the thumbnail itself:

Next try actually LEFT clicking the thumbnail within FLICKR to enlarge it FULL size and then doing the whole 'right click....properties.....select address....copy addresss......' with the bigger picture. That way you'll get the photo to appear like this:

Give it a go....you've mastered the basics, now try for the finishing touch! 8) 8)

Regards,

Bruce.
