Hi people,

Looking for a Mechanic in Cheshire (Pref Crewe area) who knows his way around a Delica L400 1994. My old beast is forever having little problems, but every Mechanic I've been to round here, charges the earth as they CLAIM for it have taken them hours & hours to fix as "It's an old unusual motor". I know, I'm not stupid, it's probably just **** mechanic-ripping-you-off speak in most cases, but there must be some top blokes still around?

I took it to one guy (recommended to me by a friend who now feels forever guilty), with a blown Turbo, & ended up, (due to a string of breakdowns, all due to this guys incompetence), having to buy 3 more Turbos, AND a new Engine!!! In the last 6 months, it's cost me over 2 & a half grand (I know, WAY more than she's worth, but I just can't bear to give up on the old girl!), & it's still not right! & now the slider on the rear door has collapsed & needs replacing! FFS!!!

If anyone happens to know a Decent guy round here who does a good job & won't charge the earth, please let me know!

Cheers all!

Daymo
