|
|
Hi all,
I have been looking for a view of the inside of the L300 for ages, and never found what I wanted, so I made it myself. Basically, I needed a view of the interior to start drawing the design of my conversion. I found a perfect view of the long wheel base on this webpage, and used the model to make a Delica L300 view. It is approximate, but good enough for me, so I am just sharing in case someone needs the same thing.

And you turned it into the normal short wheelbase L300 Delica. _________________ Ian.

Along the same lines, I recently found out about some free software called Sketchup:
http://www.sketchup.com/intl/en/download/index.html
Which is 3d modelling stuff, probably will take some learning unless you are used to cad stuff, but might be fun to recreate the L300 interior, and build up from there, you can spin and rotate to different view points etc to see it from different angles. |

Yes, that used to be google sketchup. I have tried to make a model, but it is too complicated, and I don't need that level of precision. In fact, there are two models of mitsubishi L300 in the open library, but one is the old version and very rough, and the other one is not to scale and horrible.
1980 L300
1993 Mitsubishi Delica
And I tried to make mine from the technical drawings, but it is too much work, just gave up... |
