Took the plunge and purchased blanking plates....tried to remove the nut off the back pipe ...SNAP!.   Fitted the EGR plate successfully... BUT only one fitting for rear plate. I am getting on a bit and will struggle to drill out snapped stud and retap ....has any one got any alternative ideas PLEASE.
My children now nearing 50 ...have said that I am mad to have the diesel gulping Delica but and it is a big BUT.... I love it!!!
Pulls the caravan ...and during the week doubles as a shed for my fishing gear!!!
Any suggestions ?

Has the stud broke off flush, if not you may be able to warm it up and get a stud extractor on it, or place a washer then a nut over it and weld the centre of the nut to the stud, the heat will crack the rust and it should wind out the washer stops any weld onto the manifold. Alternatively put plenty of exhaust paste on and you may find the one nut will hold it fine ;-)
