Does the Delica transmission cope with towing as factory supplied or is it worth fitting an additional cooler to check the trans fluid temerature in check?  I might want to tow the odd car.

Thanks for your thoughts

Andy

The 400 has a cooler built into the the bottom of the radiator and I've not known one to have issues with overheating unless theres a fault or due to poor maintenance

Plus an aircooled ATF radiator after that, which is visible behind the grill under the passenger side headlamp.  Wink

Only thing is if it is offroaded regular the rad behind the headlight fills up with mud but the gearboxes do seem to be rather bullefproof.

Perfect.  Thanks chaps.  Thought it best to check before I cooked it but I being Japanese I should have known they'd have it covered.  I can't tell you how many cooked Chevy boxes I'll had to change over the years.
