What's the best way to clean them? Mine are a bit tarnished with the relentless bug squashing etc... over the year. Dare I use anything abrasive? Like Brasso?

Hi

As they are only plastic I would be wary of using anything very abrasive. Give them a good wash with lots of soap and water and a soft cloth/sponge and then try Solvol Autosol - its been around for years and is very good for cleaning chrome, try an inconspicuous part first - just in case Wink

There are also several new pairs for sale on 'that site' if you wanted to go down that route.

Cheers

David

I brasso all the chrome every two months - is that sad or what!!
It keeps the rust away and also gets rid of the bugs that like you say seem to attach themselves to my mirrors.

Takes ages but worth it.
