Hi all,
...Please can you help?
I'm hoping to pick up my Delica L400 in the next couple of days, and as this is my first one and my first time buying an import I want to go with all the right questions.
I've been looking through this part of the forum trying to find a list or something that will tell me what things may /must be changed to make it road legal in the UK.
...Also can anyone tell me if there are any exemptions to changes being made due to the age of the vehicle, ect.
It has left me very confused :?
Thanks

If the Delica is more than 10 years old then there is NO esva needed,if its under ten years then a stringent esva test is required where various things could need removing,ie wind deflectors if edges are deemed sharp sometimes bullbars ,rear parking mirror and front also if fitted, non oem spot lights need disabling al tyres need to be "E" marked ,the speedo would need changing to register mph instead of kmh there is alist somewhere on here,
If as i say its over 10 years since manufactured (10yr 1 day from original build date) then all you require is a basic mot test as u would for any vehicle.
