Normally a sign of the dash lights glowing normally 3 of them, points to either the alternator being suspect or bad chassis earths or battery connections,to test the alternator obtain a volt meter and with the engine running test the voltage across the battery, should be around 13/14volts,any lower than this then it looks likely the alternator is on its way out, also apply same test with increased engine revs and re check the voltage should raise to around 14volts.
Another test is to place all lights aircon and anything electrical on and again recheck voltage it will initially drop but should come back up to 13/14 volts quite quickly, any reading of below 13 volts really should be treated as suspect so keep an eye on that alternator.
