Acivites for the junior MDOC members...Smile

WELLY WANGING.  Weather permitting, a Welly Wanging competion will be held for the kids, maybe Saturday afternoon.

WRITE A STORY  This can be held outdoors or indoors, useful if the weather is bad.
The girls can choose 3 cards from the Storyworld range, ANIMAL TALES, and the boy cjoose 3 from the QUESTS AND ADVENTURES.  From these, they can make up a story centering round the 3 cards they choose.

These are childs story telling cards designed to fire a childs imagination into writing a story.

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/images/1848774338/sr=8-2/qid=1265728042/ref=dp_image_0?ie=UTF8&n=283155&s=books&qid=1265728042&sr=8-2

Except from a review on the cards...By Dragonlady - See all my reviews
I have used the cards with a wide range of pupils and they are really good resource ..they encourage childrens' imagination, inspire creative writing and are a great source of ideas.

They can then read out their story to us all as we sit round the camp later in the day...Smile

All are welcome at the meet, the more the merrier.....so please put your names down for this special meet....Smile

Two hook-ups are left going begging....so anyone that will have small babies with them, or anyone who has 'special needs' bag yourself one now before they go...Smile

There's a very short lane just off the A6 near Buxton that goes over the old railway, but can only really be accessed from Buxton way as the other way need's a shunt.

This sort of journey is what I would normally consider a day trip. About 150 miles each way.
But it is on the verge of day trip/overnight stay.

Put me down as a maybe. Either as day trip, or one night stopover.
Just dunno what Im doing then, too far into the future, and depending on weather.

I have a freind and relatives who live in the Forest of Dean, and a friend in Scotland who would like me to visit them.
Then there's those nice folks like Ange and Greg and Baz who Id'e like to meet again.

Then there's a lady companion who may (emphasis on "may") enjoy endure me to take her out on day trips.

Oh, the problems of being popular = the choices.

Deker.

Ange, is it a rally field we've got?  If caravans are allowed can you put us down, preferably with elec but if anyone else is more needy then OK without.
