After finally scraping all that frost and snow off your Delly and getting the engine running, there’s nothing worse than finding your windscreen wipers are caked in ice and frozen solid to the glass is there?  Sad

Well. remember this simple tip and you’ll be scuttling down the road on four wheels in no time...  Well, just as soon as you’ve thawed out!  Smile

Here we go.......  slightly hinge each wiper blade off the glass and clip a wooden peg to the middle of each blade thus creating a gap between the glass and the blade.  Come the frozen morning, simply defrost the screen as usual, un-clip the pegs and re-seat the blades – it’s that simple, it really is!!  Shocked

You could, of course, hinge the wipers back fully but if you park in a public place, chances are your wiper blades won't be there in the morning!  Sad

Try this TOP WINTER TIP!  Go on; you know it makes sense!  Cool

EXTRA ** Come summer you can use those same pegs to hang underpants out to dry - more of this in a later post!
