hi everyone. can any one shed any light on why my Delcia DOES NOT like to change gear until it has warmed up (AUTO BOX ), It stays in low gear even if it reaches 3000 rpm and sounds desperate to change, once warn no problems at all , the oil has been changed in the gear box.
The overdrive button has broken and is currently always jammed in , will this be detromental and could this be whats affecting the gear changes?

it could be that the overdrive will not operate until the engine reaches a cirtain temp, or the kickdown cable is too tight, or something completely different. have you tried altering your driving style, i.e. driving like a grandad or lifting off when you think it should be changing gear??

If it's the L400 it will not change into top gears until the gearbox has attained operating temperature and then change normally. In other words there is nothing wrong with it!! Enjoy

does it put a light on, on the dash saying o/d off, won't do any damage but if its off then fuel consuption may be worse as you won't have o/d working.
