Well the up North BBQ / Butties meet went ahead and what wonderfull weather we had...
Here is a pic of our group after our "convoy" to Fleetwood... by this time Tonkatruck had had to leave us...
anyway...
tell us all your stories !
next time we must get a better back ground guys !

well...
we came to Blackpool... we met... we convoyed to Fleetwood (and some of us followed someone else who took a wrong turn and we had a diversion round some back streets)... we re-grouped past the tower and convoyed some more... got a few strange looks... ended up in Fleetwood (didn't see Mac though)... met again... had some dinner then me, the missus and the little un went back to Blackpool and had a walk along the front and had some customary doughnuts

It just doesn't do to have me leading a convoy....
And when someone turns a corner, I will follow....even when I'm not supposed to.....and everyone will discuss this at length on the CBs, but I remain blissfully unaware as I don't have a CB...

That tickled those of us with CB's
you went off and followed Dave who was off to the pleasure beech !!
so the convoy turned into 3 groups... max group size.. 3 !!!!
but we got there in the end !!
Note to ange.. get a CB for next time

We got led down the back streets also.. Made the day a bit more interesting and a lot more confusing as to who we should follow!
We had a nice picnic on the new steps at Blackpool beach very relaxing apart from the dodging of footballs being kicked all over, teens drinkin smoking and swearing and two lads scrappin! Blackpool.... What a place. Definatly enjoyed fleetwood more..
Look forward to seeing all pics.. Gonna look through the ones I took to see if there is anything worth putting on the forum.
My head is definitly bright red... Gonna hurt in the morning

well i totally lost everyone, i just called at our b&b i reserved and every one had gone lol, didn't even know we were going to fleetwood  thought it was up and down the golden mile,
anyhow i stayed the night , the car park was nearly as much as the b&b lol. but we found a overnight lock up for 8.50 in the end
found a family pub that wasn't full of bothered up jobs too.
nice to meet new guys and gals too
see you all at the next one,
must fit a cb to the bus |
