Is there a diaphram in the head (foremost part) of the egr.

Still 'shushing' noise from egr valve. Not tried a blanking plate or anything yet.

Was wondering if ther is a diaphram in the head of the egr valve. If I feel around with my finger it feels like there is, if so it may have a split in it - that would explain the noise.

Any thoughts or info appreciated.
