If I remember rightly they are 7" and I haven't measured the offset so I will need to check tomorrow when the temp has gone up from 2 degrees C to something considerably warmer. _________________

Mark, Lewis, thank you for your prompt replies. I may just ring the dealers in the morning to see if they know if the wheels are different on the new Shoguns to the old..............If they don't know I will ask Redneck & Mystery Machine. ( well main dealers sometime only know the price of a car and thats about it _________________

That wheel won't fit as there is no centre hole for the hubs to fit through.

:D I was worried about hijacking GDog's thread; but then thought the info may be useful for others wishing to use Paj wheels.
Note the back of the wheel is recessed for the retaining clips to fit. However the clip will not fit through when used on the L400 rear wheel. so about 2-3mm needs to be machine away.

Lewis,
To measure the width of a wheel (in case it doesn't have anything stamped on it....i.e. split rim alloys) you need to measure between the flanges where the bead of the tyre sits - not across the entire width of the rim.
Most OEM MkII Pajero alloys are 7" wide. By 'nost' I mean the stock 2.5 15" alloy and the stock 2.8 15" alloy as shown below:
Standard 2.8 7"x15" alloy:
Standard 2.5 7"x15" alloy:
Both these styles will fit perfectly on an L300 and L400 and will take a 30" and 31" tyre happily....(31" tyres will need some wheel arch trimming though...)
The 2.5 alloys can be picked up a LOT cheaper than the 2.8 style and they quite suit the look of the Deli....especially if painted BLACK! _________________ '93 L300 Mystery Machine (Now in the hands of a new owner)

I wouldn't know where to start with getting that done. Would it be okay as far as the insurance company goes ? It is worth looking into if i can find a company to do it. _________________

I know that! But it was easier to do it that way and keep the tape measure in place, whilst operating a manual focus camera requiring two handed use. _________________

i've got same ones as Lewis' pics on my van now, but 7J, with 235/75/15 BF AT's on
bought 2 more of ebay but they are 6j's. Hmmmm.
Anyway, they fit sweet, but the spare is slightly too big for the cage had to give it a right old shove, then when I came to use it, it had 2 lovely dents in the sidewall _________________ the man that promises to fix your Deli, does sod all, yet still takes your money, is DEFINITELY a cock . . . . . . |
