Hi bikecrazy

I think the part's for Volvo/Toyota - a double DIN fascia kit - but it's available from Halfords and gives you a nice little pocket underneath for MP3/Minidisc player and CDs!

Using the triangular metal plates of the original mounting - very easy, apart from selecting the correct choice of surround plastic thingy (I gave up trying!)

The wireing connecter code is x376 and the din pocket thingy is fp/006, it fits really well and you get a little pocket also, it took about 10 mins and looks like its been there forever.

The triangular bracket is useful in fixing your new head unit into the cavity left by the old big double din radio. You fix either in the top half or bottom half. You will find that the plastic & metal cavity left around the old double din radio and the new head unit will have a couple of millimetres gap - which is "filled in" by the old triangular brackets and holds the new head unit nice and snug.
You then use a plastic "pocket" to fill in the remaining gap.
