I am requiring to change the tyres on my Deli, winter tyres I use for living in the alps, and have been offered a set of tyres 31x10.5R 15LT and would ask if anyone can tell me if these will fit without any problems, I have noticed on other posts other Deli owners with 30x9.5x15 so not much of a gap. I also presume that normal 15 wheels off a pajero/shogun will fit as in France the Deli does not exist which is their loss. 8) |

I'm running the same size tyre of off a pajero. the wheels stick out A lot further than the arches so you need to check the off set. i also had to lose the front flaps and take a hammer to the seam flatten it out so they didn't catch.
hope that helps Gordon _________________ 3rd Amigo of the Amigo Troop.

I have 31x10.5x15 tyres...
you need to raise the suspension by 2", this can be done with new springs on rear, a cheap option is to use standard Range Rover 3.5V8 EFI front springs and then adjust the torsion bars on the front (not too much). Then you have to slightly alter the seem on the front wheel arch well (easy job takes 2 mins per side). Also best to remove the mud flaps as the front ones screws catch.
I know it sounds a lot, but its easy at minimal cost for the mods the 31" tyres look well and in my opinion give a better ride...
some pics......
this shows the original wheel next to a freshly fitted 31" tyre
side view of the 31" tyres... note fitted to original Pajero rims
if you want to go ahead and do it, and have any questions drop me a line its really easy and loads of people have done it, more in Oz then UK. _________________ Regards

I have 31/10.50 /15 tyres on mine, with standard suspension. I did have to modify the inner wheel arches for the front tyres though, it's covered on another post on the forum but basically involves taking the mud flaps off and flattening the inner wheel arch seam and a bit of the front plastic has to be trimmed, it becomes clear what you have to do when the tyres are fitted and you can see where they touch
I have these wheels fitted
MK1 Pajero alloys look pretty good, these are 7inches wide so will take the 10.50 inch wide tyre (30/9.50/15 actually fitted in this picture)
