Hi, anybody got any idea's on replacing my standard headset with a single din style? what i am looking for is a new cage with the small storage compartment Question any links would be great

ps. also what is the power/speakers/left and right etc on the standard block to head unit?

This has been covered several times before. I just did a search for 'double din' and it recovered tons of stuff, but the short version is that it seems that most good car stereo specialists keep pocket converters a bit of modification may be required and you may even find them in H@lfords Wink

The link Rusty put up is to the same din pocket as I used (till I changed back to a double din unit Rolling Eyes )
Used the pocket with the brackets from the original radio :D

That pocket looks identical to the one I picked up in Halfords for an eye-watering £15!

Fits okay with original brackets. Biggest pain was fitting the Sony head unit in the original brackets. All sorts of trouble finding suitable screws - I refused to pay £12 for two Sony items!
