The L300 Russeks handbooks are now in the club shop http://www.pocuk.com/eshop/shop.html (link to the shop at the top of the page.

The L400 is in production and will be with us as soon as they are available.

Now ... the description on the cover does state 'and many wiring diagrams' ... but these seem to be missing I will chase this up with Russek publications tomorrow & make sure that if any additional wiring diagrams are due, they will be sent out with the books (or retrospectively ... depending on how long they take to arrive!)

With or without the wiring diagrams, this is a very comprehensive technical handbook, with 'detailed description of removal, installation, adjustments, repair, overhaul, servicing and fault finding of all the major vehicle parts'

I'll update this post with confirmation regarding the wiring diagrams as soon as I have news.

Regards,

Simon.

update on original message

okay ... the wiring diagrams were missed But they're coming to me first class - should be available tomorrow (02/03/2004) ... If any orders have gone out, I'll forward on the wiring diagrams, otherwise they'll go out with the books.

Now for the good news ... Russeks have advised, the L400's should be with me in 4 weeks time

watch this space for more news

Simon.

These manuals are exclusive to pocuk/MDOCUK and aren't available anywhere else so beware of anyone offering this manual as it is not the original item.

Hi,
Have received my Russeks manual within 12 days of oredering,a record for the Falklands I think.
The manual incudes wiring diagrams, but are 2 A4 sheets printed back to back and require copying to be able to get a full diagram, also they have obviously been reduced at some stage in production and even with the assistance of a magnifier it is difficult to read the cable numbers and the the coluor codes.

All the best

Ian.

Does the L300 Russek manual cover the 4x4 version - it doesn't say!

Yes it does, but is not as explicit in some areas as could be desired.
Mines a late '89 L300.

Thanks Ian, I've just bought my Deli (2 weeks ago) and I'm having trouble with the transfer box (separate thread on the forum!).  I need some info on the transfer box, prop shafts, front hubs etc. so hope the manual covers such things.

As I intend to keep it  (rash statement at this early stage!) I think I'll buy the manual even if there are gaps or shortcomings - it's got to be better than the manual I got on CD from e-Bay!  The gearbox section is for an L200 (I think, it certainly isn't forward control anyway) and it doesn't cover the prop shafts and front hubs at all.

See elsewhere on the forums a New Zealand publisher is doing the L300 manual translated from
the Japanese if they get enough orders for it,need 150 people to put there names down.
Its supposed to be a full info manual for all models, will see if I can find the post for you.

Thanks for the info.  I went in and voted but it's still only up to 69 so there's a long way to go yet!  Is the Russek manual worth getting for my 4x4?

Is there a definate way of identifying a 4x4 version of the L300 as I've seen a 2WD Delica advertised as an Exceed on e-Bay and I've seen the namne Star Wagon bandied about as well - I'm confused!  Sad

Don't think they do a 2WD Exceed,the 2WD L300 van only has 2 headlights whereas the Delica has 4.
Looking into the cab there is the obvious High/Low/2WD/4WD lever to the left of the gear lever and if you look underneath there is the transfer box.
Some other people might have some other ways of telling one from t'other.

I have no problem with the link, using the ones in Lewis' posts.
L300 book in production but is a hefty £35.29.
Just been on their site and seen it , a 209 page manual.

Or look at Pink pig's downloaded manual in L300 FAQs.
