I was very impressed with the L300's offroad abliities, it would go up and down muddy hills that were too steep to walk up! Plus through the mud and in and out of massive ruts.
Here are some pictures of it in the mud:
Photographer was a bit slow, note rear wheels are halfway down drop, when they were at the top the van's was so nose down the bottom of the bullbars were scraping the bottom of the mud hole!
Rikyuu's L400 going over the same drop!
Through the mud, the above drop is in the background.
The same mudhole first time round when there was less water in it.
Through the water spash.
A pajero foot down through the mudhole!
My only damage, bent number plate holder - the hills were so steep the at the bottom the crash bars that protect the coolers hit the ground so the plate holder was bent back level with them!
Great fun was had by all. Beat was there with his very smart LWB L400, too smart (and too long) to go in the mud. Plus I saw another L300, with RalliArt written on the side start the off road course, but never saw it again - was it a club member? Where was everybodyelse _________________ 1993 2.5 Super Exceed
